The District’s Governing Board today adopted a proclamation designating April 2011 as Water Conservation Month, “…calling upon each resident, visitor and business to help protect our precious resource by practicing water conservation measures and becoming more aware of the need to conserve water.”
We offer numerous tips on our water conservation web pages for residents and businesses interested in conserving water, and please remember that mandatory watering restrictions are in effect throughout the 18-county area within the District. We also have resources to help identify how much water you use at your residence and which waterwise plants may be most appropriate for your yard and planting conditions.
